Press: Boston Music Awards kick off 30th anniversary with 2017 awards date and “617 Sessions”

Boston, MA — The Boston Music Awards today announced that the 2017 event will take place on December 7, 2017 at House of Blues, Boston. The 2017 events marks the 30th anniversary of the awards.

Info surrounding event tickets, nominees, nomination committee, and voting will be released in Q2.
The Boston Music Awards have also announced “617 Sessions”, a new music series that gives free studio time to local musicians. Throughout 2017, 10 artists will be welcomed into the studio to professionally record their own material.
“The goal with 617 Sessions is simple: Help artists make music.” says Boston Music Awards owner, Paul Armstrong. “Beginning in May, we will provide 10 artists with an entire day of studio time, including engineers and studio assistants. Successfully chosen artists will also be given the chance to open the 2017 awards.”
All genres are welcome and all rights will remain with the artist. Artists, agents, management, and fans can register their interest via 617sessions.com now.
