Press: Mayor Walsh declares December 8th “Boston Music Awards Day” in the City of Boston

Boston, MA — Mayor Walsh and The City of Boston have officially declared December 8th as “Boston Music Awards Day”.

“I urge all of my fellow Bostonians to join me in recognizing the Boston Music Awards contributions to celebrating the vibrant music scene in the City of Boston” said Mayor Walsh.

The Boston Music Awards take place December 8th at House of Blues, Boston. 33 Winners will be announced on the night and 12 nominated artists will take to the stage to perform live.

“We’re both proud, and honored, to have Mayor Walsh and the City of Boston officially recognize December 8th as Boston Music Awards Day.” says Paul Armstrong, Boston Music Awards owner. “This Proclamation is for every nominee and artist who call Boston home.”
