Photo of the Year is a new award for 2016 that is designed to celebrate live music photography and also directly help support two local non-profit organizations: Girls Rock Campaign Boston and ZUMIX. The Boston Music Awards are also donating 50% of ticket sales (via the links below) to both organizations.

The 12 photos you see below are on the “Shortlist” for Photo of the Year, and voting is now open (see the dropdown directly below the photos).

The 6 photographs with the most votes by November 20th will then be publicly displayed and auctioned off — with 100%of the money raised being split equally between Girls Rock Campaign Boston and ZUMIX. Full details on the public display and how you can enter the auction will be revealed on November 20th.
