Boston Music Awards 2002
Date: April 11, 2002
Venue: Orpheum Theatre, Boston
No landslide winners emerged, but the consensus was still clear: Boston is a hard-rock city. Arena pulverizers Godsmack, Staind, and Aerosmith led the way with two trophies each at last night’s Boston Music Awards at the Orpheum, held before a partisan crowd of homies who cheered every reference to the Red Sox, Bruins, and anything else with local ties.
