Boston, MA — The Boston Music Awards have today announced the 2016 nominees and officially opened voting.

4 new awards have been introduced for 2016, taking the total number of award categories to 33.

Winners will be announced on December 8th, 2016 at the House of Blues, Boston. The night will also feature live performances from multiple nominated artists — the line up will be revealed October 10th [edit] 11th.
